As we move into Week 6 of tax season, it’s been great to see everyone doing well and working together. I truly appreciate the teamwork and effort being put into gathering Google reviews—it really shows!

Managers, please share this announcement with your team members and continue encouraging clients to leave reviews. Please make sure the employee’s name is mentioned in the Google review, as only named reviews can be counted toward the competition. Unfortunately, the La Paz store had 7 unnamed reviews, and Bear Valley had 4 unnamed reviews as well.

Our goal is to achieve 100% reviews for all tax returns. This is absolutely achievable and is already happening at other franchise location!

As we kick off a new tax season, I’m grateful to be working alongside such a dedicated and hardworking Liberty Tax team. Every year brings new opportunities, and I truly believe this season will be a strong and successful one for all of us.

One key area we’ll be emphasizing this year is growing our online presence through Google Reviews. While asking clients for reviews may feel uncomfortable at times, positive reviews play a major role in attracting new clients and strengthening our reputation in an increasingly competitive market.

To recognize your efforts and encourage participation, we’re excited to roll out a Google Review Rewards Program for this tax season. Your engagement and teamwork will be essential, and I’m confident that together we can make this our best season yet.

How Reviews Are Counted:

Only positive reviews (5 stars) will count.
The review must mention the employee by name to qualify.

TAX SEASON 2024

Dear Liberty Tax team,

Hello everyone! I hope you all have been doing well. It's definitely been a while, but welcome everyone again to the 2024 tax season. I can't wait to start working with the wonderful team that is the Liberty Tax team, and I know we'll be able to accomplish great things this year! I am so excited for what this year will come to bring.

I know that we struggled last season, but I have every confidence that we can get our feet under ourselves this year. I know that we can work hard and do well, and to thank you all in advance, we have added further rewards to the employee rewards system for Google Reviews this year. While in previous years we have only rewarded individual contributors for Google Reviews, we would also like to reward individual offices this year as well. Having many positive Google Reviews is a fundamental part of our business operating system, so we would like to reward people as much as we can for receiving positive Google Reviews! Good luck everyone, and I know we can all do great this year.

Hello everyone! Wow, it's been a long time, but I'm so glad that we could all come together again for the 2023 tax season. I missed working with you all and I can only hope you feel the same, haha. I hope you had a great Holiday season.

We had a great season last year, and I am so impressed by each and every one of you. I sincerely want to thank you all for your hard work and dedication, and ask that we keep pushing forward to make this year even better than last year's! As a sign of our appreciation for your hard work, we have upgraded the rewards program from last year to include even more higher value rewards, so that even more of you may have a chance to win! Dear Liberty Tax team,

Hello everyone! It's been such a long time since we've all gathered here again. To the returners, I welcome you back, and to the newcomers, I wish you hearty greetings! As we enter a new year, I hope we can enter with bright hopes and a fresh slate, and reflect on all we have learned in the last year despite collectively going through some very difficult times related to COVID-19. Congratulations on persevering through those times, and I hope that 2022 brings joy and good times for us in the future.

I am glad to be able to start our tax season off on the right foot, and I am happy to say that we have new programs to reward all of our hard workers and excellent employees and show that we value you and all the work that you do. This year, we really want to focus on social media and google reviews, as they can heavily influence customer perception and drive traffic to our place of business. We would like to reward those that can create social media engagement and also receive reviews from customers. This is related to the program we used last year, but we have upgraded it and included even more rewards to further show our appreciation for each and every one of you.

This year, we plan on having a more intensive social media-related program. People who manage to receive many google reviews or post frequently on social media will be able to win monetary rewards! Remember that when we refer to google reviews, we are only talking about positive (AKA 5 star) reviews where you are mentioned by name in the review. The structure will be as listed below:

WEEKLY WINNER:

- #1 Most Google Reviews - $25 gift card [The tax preparer who receives the most number of Google Reviews where they are mentioned by name in the current week will receive $25]

- #2 Most Google Reviews - $25 gift card [The tax preparer who receives the second most number of Google Reviews where they are mentioned by name in the current week will receive $25]

- Best Google Review - $25 gift card [A reward for those who have provided an astounding customer experience! The tax preparer who has received the best google review from a client and has obviously provided peak customer satisfaction will receive a $25 gift card]

- Most Posts on Facebook - $25 gift card [The tax preparer who makes the most posts on Facebook that week about Liberty Tax will receive $25]

- Most posts on Instagram - $25 gift card [The tax preparer who makes the most posts on Instagram that week about Liberty Tax will receive $25]

MONTHLY WINNER (Jan-Mar)

- Most Google Reviews of the Month - $100 gift card [At the end of the months of January, February, and March, we will tally up the total number of google reviews that every employee received for the whole month. The person with the most google reviews total for that month will receive $100!]

SEASONAL/YEARLY WINNER (Ends April 15th, when tax season ends)

- Most Google Reviews of the Season - $300 gift card + a Korean chicken lunch! [The final reward! On April 15th (which is when our tax season ends), we will count up how many google reviews each tax preparer received over the course of 2022. The person who received the most google reviews for the entire season will receive $300! Wow! Also, as an added show of our appreciation, we will provide a celebratory Korean chicken meal to the winner.]

Again, I would just like to reiterate that your google review will only be counted if you are mentioned by name and if the google review is 5 stars!

Lastly, we will also be advertising a new service of ours, DeepBlue, directly to clientele, and we will provide rewards and incentives to those who get the most clients to sign up for DeepBlue! Aside from DeepBlue's incentive program, in which you will receive $10 directly from DeepBlue for every client you refer and also be signed up for a raffle every week from DeepBlue where you have the chance to win $1000, we also have our own program! In our program, we will reward the people who sign the most number of clients up to DeepBlue, second most number of clients, and third most number of clients at the end of the season. It will look like this:

DEEPBLUE REFERRAL REWARDS (SEASONAL)

#1 Most Number of DeepBlue Clients Referred - $500 cash [At the end of the season, we will tally up the total number of customers each tax preparer was able to sign up for DeepBlue. The tax preparer who signed up the most people for DeepBlue total will win $500!]

#2 Most Number of DeepBlue Clients Referred - $200 cash [The tax preparer who signed up the 2nd most number of people for DeepBlue by the end of the season will win $200]
